This privacy statement discloses the privacy practices for the Synkia service at the Synkia web site and web application, and for the use of identifying information gathered while accessing services and information on the Synkia web site.

Synkia. AS is the sole owner of the information collected from users at several different points on its web site and web applications. Synkia will keep all gathered data confidential and will not under any circumstances sell, share, or rent this information to others. Synkia will not use any data for advertising purposes without your expressed consent.

User's data generated by use

Synkia Web site and synchronization service will generate certain data automatically while using the web site, application or synchronizing users' data. Those information, including synchronization logs, activity logs, storage usage, transferred data counters are protected as well as users' personal data and is not the subject of analysis with association to any single account or user. Information gathered automatically will be used aggregated to administer Synkia, synchronization services and web sites only.

Data protection

Synkia shall take appropriate organizational and technical measures to protect the users' personal and automatically generated data provided to or collected by Synkia, and shall not retain it any longer than permitted in order to perform its services or as required under relevant legislation. Users' data can only be accessed by authorized Synkia employees who need to have access to these data in order to be able to fulfill their duties.

Please be informed that, notwithstanding the mentioned above, in the event of a designated competent authority requesting Synkia and/or its partners responsible towards such authority, to retain and provide users' personal and/or automatically generated data, or to install wiretapping equipment in order to intercept communications, Synkia and/or its partners will provide all necessary assistance and information to fulfill this request.

Synkia AS reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time if deemed necessary. We will inform users of these changes by publishing the revised Privacy Policy here. The revised Privacy Policy shall become effective immediately after such publishing, however Synkia will not reduce any users rights given under this Privacy Policy without his/her explicit consent.
